Celebrating Two ADDY Awards Wins for Isning Multimedia in 2026

Last week, we had the opportunity to attend the American Advertising Awards in Palm Desert, where we spent an incredible evening alongside fellow creatives in the industry.

That night, we were honored to take home two awards, Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects, for our “King of Comfort” campaign, created in collaboration with Comfort Air.

This recognition is a proud moment for our team, but even more than that, it reflects the strong partnerships we’ve built with our clients.

As with everything we do at Isning Multimedia, this starts with them. Their trust and collaboration are what make this work possible. These awards are a reflection of what we build together, and we’re incredibly proud of the stories we have the privilege to help bring to life.

Award-Winning Campaign: King of Comfort

The “King of Comfort” campaign is a project that brings together an innovative concept, strong storytelling, and high-level technical execution across our video production work.

Created in collaboration with Comfort Air, the campaign was designed to highlight the company’s professionalism and commitment to customer service, both in residential and commercial settings.

The concept draws inspiration from Norse mythology, where dragons were seen as powerful and protective figures. In this case, they symbolize protection against the desert heat, bringing a bold and memorable visual narrative to the campaign.

The combination of creative storytelling and advanced visual effects is what sets this project apart in both highly competitive categories. We’re proud to have achieved our goal of producing cinematic content that not only delivers visually, but also connects with audiences in a way that reshapes how they see Comfort Air.

Behind the Production: Bringing the King of Comfort Campaign to Life

Bringing the “King of Comfort” campaign to life for Comfort Air was a challenge, one we met through precise planning, cinematic storytelling, and strong execution.

Our goal was to create a story that felt both visually striking and relatable, resulting in a memorable commercial that positions Comfort Air as the ultimate solution to the intense desert heat of the Coachella Valley.

The production was carefully planned and executed across two filming days.

The first day focused on capturing outdoor scenes filmed on location throughout the Coachella Valley. Our team shot desert landscapes, Comfort Air vans in motion, technicians arriving at homes, and real service interactions with homeowners. We also captured Paul Votta in powerful, wide shots alongside the mountains and vehicles, building the presence of a true protector of the valley.

These scenes were designed to highlight the company’s real-world presence, reliability, and commitment to customer service, while reinforcing the idea of Comfort Air as a trusted solution for an essential need.

On the second day, production moved into the studio to film the campaign’s castle scenes using a full green screen setup. Paul Votta took center stage, with the now iconic line, “The King of Comfort is back,” through dramatic performances designed to reinforce his role as the valley’s protector.

A key detail in the production was the throne itself. Part of its structure was physically built on set to match the dimensions of Lennox HVAC units, allowing our visual effects team to seamlessly replace it with a fully rendered ice throne during post-production.

Advanced Visual Effects and Cinematic Production

The core concept of the campaign was brought to life through advanced visual effects, all developed and executed by our team, from initial hand-drawn sketches to fully realized digital environments and motion design.

Using large-scale VFX design, our team created both fire and ice dragons to represent the opposing forces of heat and cold, reinforcing the idea of controlling the desert climate.

The process began with hand-drawn sketches that served as the foundation for the digital builds. From there, the dragons were fully developed and animated into cinematic sequences, engaging in an epic battle, breathing fire and ice, and bringing the story to life.

The ice dragon, in particular, takes on the role of protector of the Coachella Valley, flying alongside the technicians and symbolizing support in the fight against the desert heat, serving as a visual extension of Paul’s character.

All these elements were enhanced with atmospheric details such as heat waves, lighting effects, and environmental visual effects, creating a more immersive and realistic visual experience.

This level of execution allowed us to deliver a cinematic piece that performs seamlessly across broadcast, commercial, and digital platforms, while maintaining the visual depth required for advanced post-production and VFX integration.
